New Recipe Robin update

Recipe robin got an update today. Here are some of the news:

After analysing the general user activity in the app, it seems like not all users has understood how to use the app to its full potential. Is not strange, after all the app hasn’t had any way of showing the user all the functionality.

So to make it easier to get the full experience all users who open the app after updating, will get a little introduction video which shows the basics.

Also made the app ready for more videos to come.

Plans and ideas for updates in the next weeks:

Notifications with dinner suggestions
Make the app available offline
Add light and dark modes
Add weekly planer which let the user plan what to make for a week at a time
Auto generate shopping list based on the weekly planer
May change name from «items» to «ingredients»
Open for a opportunity for user to add their own recipes.
Apply translation options on all elements of app, which makes the app automatically change to the users local language.
